Emendion was founded by three engineers from Umeå, Sweden, who share a passion for audio technology. We created the Aspen One microphone to be among the first professional-grade microphones supporting the new Bluetooth LE Audio standard and Auracast broadcasting.


With backgrounds in audio engineering, embedded systems, and wireless technology, we saw an opportunity to develop a microphone that could take full advantage of the capabilities offered by Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast.


We developed the hardware and software in-house, while collaborating with external specialists on the mechanical design to achieve the compact form factor and durability requirements.
